During this immersive and interactive workshop, the tried-n-true ways we do traditional field trips will be turned inside out. And the widely accepted methods for place-based learning will be revamped. Enter “Learn Local, Wherever You Are”, a holistic and heartfelt approach.

Right now there is a big push for 3P Learning–Problem, Project, Place-Based– that places emphasis on producing a product to be shared with the public. Learn Local offers a unique and complimentary framework that emphasizes the process and developing a personal sense of place.
